八王子学園都市大学（いちょう塾）にて公開講座を実施しました / Public Lecture at Hachioji Gakuen Toshi University (Icho-juku)

「光で守る健康と暮らし 〜日常に溶け込む、未来の健康見守りシステム〜」を実施しました。
本講座では、光ファイバセンサを用いた健康見守り技術について、日常生活や医療・福祉への応用を交えながら紹介しました。
西山研究室では、今後も光を用いたセンシング技術を通して、健康・医療・暮らしに役立つ研究を進めてまいります。
On July 4, 2026, we gave a public lecture for Hachioji Gakuen Toshi University (Icho-juku), held at Gakuen Toshi Center.
The lecture was titled
“Protecting Health and Daily Life with Light: Future Health Monitoring Systems Integrated into Everyday Life.”
In this lecture, we introduced health monitoring technologies using optical fiber sensors, including their potential applications in daily life, medicine, and welfare.
